 Our collection and use of Personal Information are fairly limited and straightforward.

When you visit our website, we automatically collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address and your browser and device characteristics. We collect this information through the use of “necessary cookies” – small data files that capture information about the computers of visitors to our website to facilitate use of our website. You have the option to disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so might limit your usage of our website.

If you contact us through our website portal, you will be required to provide us with your first and last name, email address, the subject of your inquiry, and whatever information you provide in your message. If you subscribe to a Company newsletter, we will collect your name and email address.

If you establish an account with us, we will collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, billing address information, vessel or facility information, and any applicable payment and service delivery location information, if needed. If you make any in-person purchase from us, we may need to collect these same categories of information, depending on the purchase.

 

4. How Do We Use Your Personal Information? With Whom May We Share It?

We use your Personal Information in only a few limited ways.

For the information that we automatically collect when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser and device characteristics, our website uses this information establish a connection with your computer, display content to you, and respond to your website browsing and navigation activity. We also use such information to understand who is visiting what parts of our website, both for our website security and to improve the functionality of our site

5. How Long Do We Retain Personal Information?

Unless we are required to retain Personal Information for a longer period of time because of an audit, other investigation, or litigation, we generally retain Personal Information only as long as we need to use it and as outlined below.

We will maintain customer contact and account information for as long as we have an ongoing customer relationship. In general, we will maintain business records, including records with Personal Information, for a period of seven years.

We use administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the Personal Information that we store, transmit, or otherwise process, against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. We regularly consider appropriate new security technology and methods as we maintain and develop our software and systems. Please be aware that despite our best efforts to ensure the security of your data, we cannot guarantee that your information will be 100% secure.

7. What Are Your Privacy Rights and How Can You Exercise Them?

If you have an account with us, you may inquire as to what information we have collected during the previous 12 months.

For account holders, we rely upon you to keep your information up to date. You may edit your account information by providing updated information to us in person or by contacting us though our website or email.

For any newsletters or similar mass email communications, you may remove yourself from our mailing list by asking to “unsubscribe” form such communications.

You may also terminate or delete your account with us. If you choose to do so, we will deactivate your account and information from our active databases or other files. But we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, perform contractual obligations, maintain records as part of the normal course of running our business as outlined above, or other lawful reasons.

In addition to the above, California consumers have the right to request from the Company the following:

    • The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected

    • The business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information;

    • The categories of third parties to whom the Company discloses personal information; and

    • The specific pieces of personal information the Company has collected.

  • That the Company correct any inaccurate personal information it has collected;

  • Information regarding any personal information that is sold, shared, and/or disclosed.  This includes: 

    • The categories of personal information collected;

    • The categories of personal information that the Company sold or shared; and

    • The categories of personal information that the Company disclosed for a business purpose and the categories of persons to whom it was disclosed for a business purpose;

  • That the Company delete any personal information it has collected.

Such requests can be made by contacting the Company using the information below.  We will require a limited amount of information in order to verify your identity.

You will not receive any discriminatory treatment due to your exercising of any of these rights.

 

9. Do We Collect Children’s Information?

We do not knowingly collect any information about children younger than 16 years of age. We are an industrial service supplier and would not have reason to engage in business with such minor children. We discourage minor children from providing their information to us or attempting to use our Services.

This Notice is effective as of the date at the top of this document. This Notice may be amended from time to time.
